Art isn't a talent, it's a skill that can be learned just like anything else!

Class Options:

​

Drawing

This course teaches the basics of drawing and is adaptable to artists of all skill levels. We will learn how to draw using pencil, charcoal and ink.

​

Painting

This course teaches the basics of painting, and is adaptable to artists of all skill levels. We will learn how to start a painting, how to paint from life, basic color theory, and various painting techniques.

​

Digital Art*

This course teaches the basics of photoshop, and is available with either a focus in photo editing or digital painting - digital painting students will be taught the basics of drawing and color theory.

Graphic Design

This course teaches the basics of the program InDesign, as well as the basics of design: C.R.A.P: contrast, repetition, alignment, and proximity.

Students are required to provide themselves with materials needed for the course. Material lists are emailed one week before lessons begin. 

*If the student does not have a computer or laptop with photoshop on it, or a drawing tablet (if they are enrolled in the digital painting course) they may borrow materials during the course for an additional fee of $15 per class
